Sliding Door Office Storage Cabinets
These sliding door, side opening tambour door office cabinets, feature steel cabinet bodies or carcasses, in a range of painted finishes. Typically, silver, white, grey and black are the most popular, but some options allow custom colour choices.
The plastic tambour doors slide to left or right, and in many cases to both sides, and are usually fitted with a push lock. The slatted doors run down the insides of the cupboards, and often around the back, meaning that the doors do not occupy floor space when the cabinet is opened.
These sliding tambour door office cabinets offer excellent high density office filing, and are great where corrdors are busy and hinged doors might be a safety hazard. Some cabinets are supplied complete with shelves, but other models are supplied empty and require you to purchase the interior cupboard fitments that you require. These cabinets are great for on-shelf filing of binders, but some also offer the facility to hang front access lateral filing pockets on the underside. Finally, there is also the possibility of adding pull out suspended filing cradles or frames, allowing suspended pocket files to be used.
