Aerofoil Design were approached by CEO Paul Forster for advice and assistance with designing and furnishing their new Biggin Hill facility. Over a number of weeks, and through a constant exchange of ideas and feedback, several designs were developed and fine tuned, until the final solution was defined.

An order was then placed with us to furnish the executive offices, meeting room, reception area and VIP Executive Lounge. Aerofoil Design were also involved in specifying and supplying the window blinds and curtains.

Corner View Of Fusion Reception Desk

The reception desk is important to every Company, as it is often the first point of contact with a visitor. Eborcraft's Fusion modular reception desk was chosen in a light cherry veneer, with metallic silver plinth.

DDA Compliant Reception Facility

This extended bow fronted curved top provides an excellent facility for greeting disabled visitors at the reception.

The lovely pattern in the real cherry wood veneer is evident in this photograph of Eborcraft's Fusion reception desk.

Reception Desk - View Towards Entrance Door

This modular Fusion reception desk in cherry veneer, fitted the reception area perfectly, allowing shelter from any draughts from the front door, privacy of information, and ease of communication with waiting guests and those with disabilities.

The four piece reception unit combines high level reception counters with low level storage and the bow fronted counter, allowing plenty of room for working and greeting visitors.

Simple Waiting Area

Visitors are invited to browse through aviation books or watch the flatscreen TV whilst waiting. Burgundy coloured I Class Tub chairs were provided with an Abbey cherry veneered coffee table to match the reception desk.

Executive Boardroom Table

The executive meeting room was fitted with a custom made veneered boardroom table. This barrel shape (or boat shape) table at 2400mm long and 1200mm wide, is excellent for meetings as the curved shape, it makes it easier to interact with others.

For this meeting table, crown cut maple veneer was used in the centre with cross banded cherry veneer at the edges, separated by an ebony inlayed strip. The arrowhead bases are fitted with a removable strip which allows cables to be routed to the table top, and we fitted this table with a special in-top module offering 13 amp power, data, telephone and vga sockets.

Minster Bow Front Executive Desk

The executive offices were supplied with Eborcraft's Minster bow front custom maple and cherry veneer desks, with side return units and matching storage pedestals.

The matching wooden cable port sits within the crown cut maple veneer top, and you can see the ebony black inlay and cross banded cherry edge veneer.

Supplied with matching wooden feet, and two colour leather finish, they offer a prestigous feel whilst still be good value for money.

Special Entertainment Credenza

This special Minster credenza was custom designed and produced for this customer.

The cross banded maple veneer and cherry veneer finish is shown off on the doors.

The drawers at the left end were lined with green felt for the crockery and cutlery, whilst the right hand end houses a small fridge.

The centre section offers general storage and a wine bottle shelf.

The windows were fitted with ivory wooden venetian blinds which provide some privacy whilst allowing enough light into the rooms.

The VIP Lounge was also fitted with these curtains hanging from a colour matched curtain pole.

The internal windows were fitted with ivory coloured wooden ventian blinds.

Informal Meeting Area

A matching circular maple and cherry coffee table with cruciform base was supplied for this informal meeting area. The table had to be especially small to allow easier access to the workstation.

The smple I-Class tub chairs complete the area.
